Our environmental commitment
PMA seeks to avoid, minimise and mitigate the environmental impact of its activities. Its environmental policy connects resource conservation, waste management and responsibility to the surrounding community.
Management and measurable objectives
PMA is committed to maintaining and developing a documented environmental management system. It sets measurable objectives and aims to meet, and where possible exceed, the environmental requirements that apply to its work.
Resources, recycling and waste
We seek to conserve natural resources, recycle materials wherever practicable and reduce waste. Considering how materials are used and disposed of is part of responsible day-to-day working.
Community, transport and prevention
PMA’s policy includes eliminating nuisance to the local community and maintaining an environmentally safe transport strategy. Keeping informed about environmental legislation and pollution-prevention technology supports this work.
Communication and review
PMA reviews its policy annually, helps employees understand their responsibilities and seeks further opportunities to improve. These are the company commitments described on the PMA website, rather than quantified environmental claims for a Halogen installation.
